The heartfelt and personal, memoir of a mothers journey to have a family. With hopes to empower other women and young mom's across the world to share their stories of infertility and loss.- "Taking with him a lifetime of hopes and dreams."My dream of being a Mommy. My hope for watching him grow. All of it right there in front of me. Tucked away in this miniature casket, wrapped in his little white blanket, with his little bear and every piece of my heart except the piece that continued to allow me to breathe. I wasn't given a choice to breathe, it just continued to happen, I didn't want to stop it, but I knew I would be ok if it didn't continue. I would have been totally satisfied with going with him. If god was to walk into this church, right now and ask if I wanted to go with him, I would stand up and walked away. But he didn't and so I had to stay. Two years of infertility and morning temperatures. Two years of heartache and tears. And finally, I was pregnant. Only to have it taken away. Since the day he was born I was trying to get off this roller coaster of emotions. I kept trying to think about how this happened. What did I do wrong? My head was spinning like a carousel. I wanted to jump off but it wouldn't slow down. My heart wouldn't let me put the pieces together. It shut down the minute he was born. I think it was broken. Shattered. Just finished reading this, read it in 2 sitting. It was a great read, though sad and so many things I can relate to. Thank you Mollie Jo Peper..........Alicia PetersonI read your book last week.
