When two Aussie adventurers decide to buy a house in France they get more than baguettes and stinky cheese. Wonderful neighbours, horrible drains, fabulous wines and French taxes.

After living on a boat in the tropics of Northern Australia for 11 years, Hettie and Boomie have a bright idea. How hard can it be to buy a house in another country? And so the rollercoaster ride of paperwork, bribing French tourists for translations and trying to survive the long haul flight to France begins.
