His name is Legend and in the year 1980 he was born in Brooklyn, New York. This is his story from birth and the experiences that make him the greatest street poet to ever touch a microphone. Raised amid the backdrop of the crack eighties and nineties. This is how he overcame tragedy and avoided becoming one of the many statistics of that era. With Hip Hop being a vital part in his life, he does the only thing that he is naturally good at - He writes. He writes with the hope that this art form called poetry can give him wings to fly out of the hood. This is how he became his namesake - A Legend!
