Bioecology of Plagusia depressa (Fabricius, 1775) in Coruripe/AL/BR

The study of bioecology is of fundamental importance for the analysis and interpretation of the biological aspects that enable the stability of a species in a given habitat. The aim of this study was to investigate the bioecology of Plagusia depressa (Fabricius, 1775) in the reefs of Pontal de Coruripe, in Coruripe (10 07' 33' S and 36 10' 33' W), on the southern coast of Alagoas, Brazil, 90 km from Macei . This study analysed seasonal variation, catch per unit effort (CPUE), sex ratio, growth, allometry, reproductive period, fecundity, recruitment period and abiotic data.
