Beyond The 'After' Life

Steven Bates lives a busy life working with non-profits for suicide prevention, helping others with PTSD to obtain service dogs, and running his own non-profit to comfort those who suffer from mental illness. Those experiences have inspired his poetry. He wrote it with the sincere hope to honor those who sacrificed for their country and to remind those who struggle of how they can thrive in the face of adversity.
