Beyond Classical Marxism

Arising from the author's five decades of experience in working toward a socialist transformation of U.S. society, this book presents a vision of socialism which is completely democratic. In doing so, it has been necessary to reject the concept of a vanguard party ruling society as a purported "dictatorship of the proletariat", as advocated by the "Marxist-Leninist" approach of classical Marxism.
