Because of Him

We all face hardships and we share many common struggles in our day-to-day lives, but what is it that gets us through those trying times? Faith, hope and love, especially love, can move us through challenging circumstances. Faith and hope encourage us while love of God, love of our neighbor, even love of ourselves allows Gods light to penetrate dark situations. Praising God in those difficult moments, as well as when things are going well, demonstrates our faith and hope in things yet unseen, and honoring Him with words of thanksgiving and devotion takes our focus off ourselves and ushers in the redemptive power of Gods grace. The poems in Because of Him seek to communicate, in a truly relatable manner, an enthusiastic appreciation and love of God and the demonstration of his presence in our everyday lives.
