Beauty For Ashes

When a child is born, they have no control over the womb they come through nor the environment in which they grow up. Many families have circumstances and trauma that have not been dealt with and bring children into these circumstances. No family is perfect, but when the foundation is unstable, a child can often experience a lot of suffering before they finally see the light. But there is light. And the light is a relationship with Jesus Christ. It took me a long time to get there, and often I was hard-headed and determined to do things my way. And there were terrible things that happened to me, terrible things I did to others, and just a whole lot of drama for many years as a direct result of decisions I was making and people with whom I was associating. This is my story. I open up all the flaws and scars. All the ups and downs, and downs and downs and downs, and finally the light. I am a brand-new creation, and it is wonderful.
