When Katie and her mom, Kaye, moved to Phoenix, AZ, they thought life would be great. No more harsh winters in Indiana. Too bad they forgot about loneliness and extreme heat.

After attending a wedding in Destin and seeing so many old friends and family, both mother and daughter decide to move back home.

When Katie lands a new job, she meets a very stubborn man. The French Cuisine professor is more than she can handle. And he's not too hot for her, either. But when they work together on a project, they both get more than they bargained for.

Kaye, too, finds that moving home isn't as easy as she thought it would be. In order to keep busy, she joins the Healthy Living Club where an old foe is now the director. When these two cross paths, Kaye wonders if she's capable of forgiveness.

Will both mother and daughter be able to forgive and move on? Or will their past experiences ruin their chances at happiness?
