Rafael Sabatini (1875 – 1950) was an Italian-English novelist and a short story writer. 'The Sea Hawk' (1915) is Sabatini’s worldwide bestseller, together with 'Captain Blood' (1922), 'Scaramouche' (1921) and 'Bellarion the Fortunate'(1926).
