Autumn and Winter Poetry

Autumn, the leaves turn color and the rain hits the windowpane all day long. We are bored looking outside the window and sleeping with the soothing rain sounds. There is the walk in autumn in solitude and the crisp autumn breeze against the background of beautiful autumnal color!A carpenter on a winter vespertide is chopping yule logs for the fireplace. The fire is rekindling all day and night while we relish a cup of hot coffee in our rocking chair. Smoke rising on the chimney rekindled against the cold of the winter air. What do we do but sequester in a cottage or the family room to dwell the winter months in readership by the fireside and cherish the decorated house filled with greeneries and ornaments. Various birds, the snowbirds perched on the hedge ready to foray its prey! The city life this wintry time is bustling with people out shopping or chilling at the pub or touring the city, just looking out the window that is snowing!
