Atlas of Esophageal Diseases

This new edition of the Atlas of Esophageal Diseases provides an 11-chapter visual panorama of the esophagus in both health and disease. Over 600 detailed images covering the most relevant aspects of the esophagus are included.  Edited by Dr. Roy C. Orlando, the book begins with a chapter on esophageal anatomy and physiology, and takes the reader through an exploration of gastroesophageal reflux disease, pH-monitoring, and finally, surgery of the esophagus.  Also illustrated and expounded upon are topics including acute esophagitis, endoscopic ultrasonography, esophageal motor disorders, and additional material pertaining to esophageal diseases.  As Orlando explains, the contributing authors dedicated much time, energy, and expertise in order to bring the book to fruition.
