Artificial intelligence law in domestic legislation of countries

This book examines the rapid rise of artificial intelligence and its deep impact on modern societies, highlighting the urgent need for clear legal frameworks to regulate its use. As AI expands across sectors (economy, health, justice, education, administration, and security) it raises complex ethical and legal challenges related to privacy, data protection, liability, fairness, intellectual property, and the future of work. The study analyzes global legislative efforts, such as the EU AI Act, China's AI law, Canada's Bill C-27, and South Korea's Basic AI Law, noting the absence of comprehensive regulation in the Arab world. It seeks to answer how states can encourage innovation while safeguarding fundamental rights and human values. Using an analytical and descriptive methodology grounded in legal principles and Sharia ethics, the book addresses key themes: AI concepts, its scope, regulatory principles, civil and criminal liability, and the proposal of a Supreme Authority for Artificial Intelligence.
