Welcome to the adventure of a lifetime.....an around the world cruise. We are excited to share what was great and also not-so-great in hopes that someday, you'll embark on a similar adventure (see what I did there?). We visited 6 continents, 25 countries, 50 ports and 20+ UNESCO sites. We transited the Panama Canal, the Suez Canal and the Strait of Gibraltar. We crossed the equator 2x and the international date line 1x. We traveled 29,573 miles on the ship in total. We experienced the Via Dolorosa (Jerusalem), the tallest building in the world (Dubai), some of the most ancient ruins (Petra), the #2 and #3 largest mosques in the world (Casablanca and Oman) and active Volcanos (Canary Islands), and much, much more. We rode tuk tuks in Sri Lanka, petted kangaroos in Sydney and walked where our tennis idols play the Australian open. Most of all, we met some amazing people and made lifelong friends we'll continue to travel with. Oh, and we won another cruise, 10 days anywhere princess sails. If you'd like to see even more pics, I did a travel blog every day (111 blogs). https://aswimmer2.wixsite.com/worldcruise111day. We loved it all so much, we signed up for another 131-day cruise in 2026. Cruising like this is a paradigm shift for sure....it's not a vacation, it's a lifestyle!
