One of the most important problems of Arab thought is that it suffers from the pressure of ideology, the ideology of authority on the one hand and religious ideology on the other, and the ideology of the opposing classes in all their manifestations and diversities. There is the ideology of Arab thinkers that perhaps, in its diversities, also expresses the diversities of the ideology of Arab society with all its groups and classes, even if this Ideology uses concepts of philosophy that are usually reproduced along the lines of a precedent from the past of thought (tradition) or its present (the West). We believe that the questions of modern and contemporary Arab thought came to answer a purely ideological question: "Why did the West advance and the Arabs lag behind?" It is as if we made the other the cause of backwardness, or as if our renaissance and progress were linked to the West''s backwardness, and vice versa, that the West''s progress is linked to our backwardness. In all of this and that, even though our Arab renaissance thinkers were armed with equipment and weapons borrowed from philosophy, we believe that raising the question of renaissance and answering it was not possible. Getting rid of the dominance of ideology. Note that the quest to achieve this renaissance can only be achieved by questioning our previous knowledge. This is the approach that Descartes took not to reject previous knowledge, but to examine the extent of its ability to survive and verify its validity in light of the transformations of the era.
