Application of Ceramic Membranes for Oily Wastewater Treatment

This book consist of introduction, literature review, modeling, materials and methods and results and discussions sections. In the introduction, problems related to water pollution by oily wastewater have been explained. The next chapter summarizes results of some relevant published articles to develop and review new ideas in this area. Modeling of permeate flux using Hermia's pore blocking models has introduced in the third chapter following by explanation of materials and methods of fabrication of ceramic membranes in the hybrid processes. Finally, in the last chapter of this book, results of using different types of ceramic membranes in the hybrid processes of MF-coagulation, MF-adsorption, MF-coagulation-adsorption and chemical cleaning of ceramic membrane will be mentioned and discussed.
