Apocalypse is the expectation of an imminent cosmic cataclysm in which God destroys the ruling powers of evil and raises the righteous to life in a messianic kingdom." This revelation, this expectation of an imminent cosmic cataclysm, cannot be captured, calculated, or even conceptualized by the human mind. It is a revelation of God's wisdom in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God predestined before the ages to our glory.
