Animals and crime films: an anthology

Anne Simon is cited in the Animals Studies movement for her recognized work "on the literature involved in contemporary redefinitions of the living". What can we say about bestiary studies in crime films? Through a limited selection, we'll be looking at how the animal figure appears in the image. How are they characterized? And what are its different postures? In fact, our reflection will highlight an animal variety based on an aesthetic of "noir", a salient feature of the genre.
