I have no memory of my life beyond waking in a hospital room.

They tell me my name is CJ Ryan, and I have been in a coma for a little over two years. Apparently, it's a medical miracle that I am even alive, much less awake and coherent. I have no idea what they are running on about. My stutter is hardly articulate, and it makes communicating a real bitch.

But the media loves it, the story of the 'coma boy wakes ' I'm thrust into the forefront of the headlines. The push into the spotlight shines a harsh glare on my family and brings with it a plague of horrors that drag me to the edge.

With each supernatural encounter, another power is revealed, and I have no idea what the hell I am, or how to control this raging magic inside me.

I need answers and I turn to my brother, but he isn't talking. No one is.

Because every time I get close to glimpsing my past, my brain shuts down violently, causing me seizures. Seizures that could kill me.
