This book is not one of those "poor-me" books about addiction struggles. This is a compilation of life events. There are serious incidents of violence and child abuse. There are also stories of substance abuse and how that evolved over time. There are examples of mental illness which touched both myself and family. Copious illustrations of sex, both devious and a collection of many encounters and the effects this had on career decisions and the overall impact on relationships. The consequences of death and abandonment. Fear and numerous fights, evolving from fists to knives, to guns and subsequent near death events, the survival of which can only be explained as supernatural, to include both demons and angels.
