AMERICAN KING JAMES BIBLE and FOUNDING DOCUMENTS

The King James Version of the Holy Bible has a 12th grade reading level. The American King James Version (AKJV) has a 6th grade reading level. It replaced archaic words with modern words, all listed in the appendix. The free 1999 AKJV is available at http: //www.crosswire.org.
