Ephraim Sirin is a Christian theologian and poet, one of the teachers of the Church of the 4th century.Canonized in the face of the reverend. The best part of the writings of Ephraim the Syrin is his preaching and prophecy, especially moral. He proves not so much as expressing his thoughts and feelings. The "Syrian prophet" (the name given to him by his contemporaries) is here in his innate sphere. He is a true and true speaker in the Christian sense of the word.
