I think this is the first time I've ever wished for summer to end quickly. Why? Easy. Because that means going back to school and seeing Pablo again. We've spent months apart--me stuck in my hometown, bored and frustrated with my parents, and him all the way in the U.S.

Today is the first day of the new school year, and I can't wait to walk through those doors and kiss my boyfriend. My boyfriend. It feels so good to say it.

But, of course, new year, new drama. I don't see Pablo anywhere. He's just... gone. And that's not my only problem--I've been switched to a different class... and I have a feeling my dad is behind this. There must be an explanation. There always is. Or at least, I always manage to find one... right?
