Adversity, Triumph, and the Aftermath: Frederick Douglass

Our interactive unit studies are designed around thought provoking themes that encourage students to ask questions and analyze theories. This unit study is designed to be completed over six five-day weeks. This unit contains the text of The Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass along with pre-reading activities, graphic organizers, vocabulary studies, and self checkexercises. The final project is a thematic writing assignment which enable students to synthesize what they have learned.
