The Adventures of Excelsior: The House of Surprises is a humorous story about disasters that overtake a family home. Due to a faulty button on the toilet, the backup of sewage ended up overflowing into the backyard. Through this incident the family learned about the sewage treatment plant in Bondi, Australia. And they also learned how the stuff in the toilet makes its way there, and what happens to it once it gets to the treatment plant. Mum, Dad, and Jayjay, their curious five-year-old, go through an adventure coping with the mess, the smell, and finding ways to clean up the mess. A true story. In hindsight, we can laugh about it, and we are happy to share with our readers the misadventures of this unfortunate house on Excelsior.
