Adventures in Literature

Adventures in Literature is a lower-level introduction to literature for ESL learners. The literature used is unique -- the authors draw on dialogue (mostly from short stories) to help less-proficient students develop an interest and understanding of literature. The authors whose work appears in this text include O. Henry, Oscar Wilde, George Orwell, Mona Gardner, James Thurber, Saki, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Colette, Alphonse Daudet, and Kate Chopin.
Adventures in Literature includes a focus on vocabulary and a review of grammar.
