acupressure as a nursing tool in managing chronic patients

Based on results of the current study, it can be concluded that insomnia and dizziness are common among majority of HD patients and have a significant impact on health status. With using acupressure therapy a significant reduction in the level of insomnia and dizziness was observed. The studied subjects found them comfortable and also expressed high level of satisfaction towards acupressure therapy. Also it is easy to be applied by nonprofessional caregiver or patients themselves
