Robert "e;Cold"e; Steel, Captain USAR Retired wasborn on April 26, 1958 being raised and reared as a nativeof West Helena Arkansas. A 1977 graduate of Central HighSchool and a 1982 graduate of the University of CentralArkansas with a Bachelor of Business Administrationmajoring in business marketing. In 1982, besides receivinga college degree, he was also commissioned as secondlieutenant in the US Army with service to this country inan active and reserve duty status. In becoming and as anArmy Captain this book details his service as commanderto an embattled army reserve command that went from adisbandment posture to a conflict support readiness posture,ultimately mobilized in support of Operation DesertStorm. Captain Steel served in various command positionsin specialized training, operations, and logistics receivingnumerous awards and citations before retiring honorablyfrom military service. Additionally, he spent almost twentyyears of service employed with the State of Arkansasinstituting accreditation, oversight of Department of Justiceagreements and court ordered juvenile rehabilitation andtreatment activities. He is currently retired, but remainscommitted to practicing his faith, teaching the principles ofGod and giving service to others.
