A Writer's Workbook

The fourth edition of this classic writing skills book - A Writer’s Workbook - contains so many new features and new readings, and has been revised and updated to such an extent that it is essentially a new book. In this reading-based writing book, the author has selected seven new high interest pieces and retained five favorites from the third edition. The twelve readings, appear in four thematic units: Language, Culture, Work and Roots. The readings represent a wide variety of genres, with at least one academic reading per unit.
