A Very Incomplete Guide to the North Downs Way

The whimsical, ultra-short stories contained in this collection were found along the North Downs Way, a long-distance hiking route in England. Each story is inspired by the accompanying photo taken by the author along the route. Within these pages you will meet characters such as Prince Doily I, a Rajasthani ghostly prince who goes about enforcing manners; John the Trickster god who sends people on unexpected adventures via his magical glasses; a meditating megalithic stone who is also a third century Buddhist nun; a lizardoid overlord called Jack; and a great many magical trees.
