A Training Program Manual

This training program manual is designed to provide teachers with a bank of planned and structured sessions with accompanying photocopiable worksheets and these worksheets are ideal for unemployed and in- service teachers. The training program manual contains eight chapters (sessions). Each one has its objectives, warm up activities, then a theoretical phase that is presented by power point; Practical phase includes a series of varied tasks that progressively develop teachers' knowledge of classroom practice and motivate trainees by interactive tasks that are provided an appropriate level of cognitive challenge; Video films; Microteaching phase with feedback and peer assessment which encourages active reflection; And Assignments and Reflection phases. Trainees are directed to use worksheets in order to supplement trainees' responses to the tasks. Extra references can be used for more information. At the end of each chapter there are appendices. In addition to DVD that contains video films from YouTube Site concerning the topic of the chapter.
