A Touch of Evil

Chief Inspector Marc Mercier, head of the DST Counterintelligence Paris special flying squad, along with the help of his beautiful former spy wife Marie, are faced with a mystery; a French banker who was prossibly working with the Nazi's is found murderd, but why and who killed him? Did he turn on his friends in the SS/SD, was it his sordid friends in the Parisian organized crime underworld... or did the wife find being a widow the best new fashion statement for the winter season of 1936. This starts a new case for this intrepid pair, once again they plunge into the vibrant and seductive city of Lights, the sophisticated cafes and nightclubs of the interwar period. War is on the horizon, and yet decadent Paris parties on, as spies and criminals hunt the city's darkest shadows. Where will this murder in France lead...?
