A Thief in the Night

Darren Raffles didn’t believe in magic… until he found a tatty old cricket ball in his gran’s attic and rubbed it – only to see a mysterious ghost appear. The ghost of A.J. Raffles, the famous Victorian gentleman jewel thief and safebreaker – who also happened to play cricket for England.

Two million pounds’ worth of diamonds have been stolen in an armed robbery at Heathrow Airport. By chance, Darren discovers where the diamonds are hidden, so he and Raffles set out on the adventure of a lifetime to steal them back and return them to their rightful owners.

But Darren is a twelve-year-old boy and Raffles a hundred-year-old phantom. What could possibly go wrong…….?
