A Short History of the Old Testament

The earliest Old Testament Scripture was written in the 9th century BCE (Before Common Era) almost 3000 years ago. Many anonymous scribes and a few identifiable scribes continued to contribute to the Hebrew Scripture for hundreds of years until the beginning of the Common Era (CE). This book explores when the narratives were written, who wrote the ancient scripture and the historical circumstances that affected the themes of the various books of the Old Testament.
