A Mothers Journey: The aftermath of SIDS through poetry

After losing my baby so suddenly and having to deal with the finality of that, I decided to put all my energy into writing poetry, to lay my feelings bare, to ride the intense ones out, to look for answers, to find peace. I do not know how I have managed to keep breathing on this roller-coaster journey so far. Inside these pages I share with you the story of how my perfect little boy was taken so tragically with no warning. This is unfortunately the journey of many angel parents. My heart goes out to every single one of you. I hope that my poetry brings you some comfort, even if that is simply knowing that you aren't alone.
