In book one: After moving to the big city with his mother, Christopher, a young boy with failing eyesight is given the opportunity of a lifetime, when Sarah, a young teen survivor of a tragic accident writes a letter to Santa asking for a miracle on his behalf.

Now, with time running out, it's up to Sammy, a mailroom elf and his counterpart, Terrance, a toymaker's assistant in Santa's workshop to find a way to deliver Sarah's misdirected letter offering her legs as payment for a Christmas miracle to the Christmas Angel via Santa before it's too late for him to attend the Christmas event of the season in Toy Town. It's up to Sammy and Terrance to brave the odds, and tempt fate by taking matters into their own hands in order to deliver the priority letter to Santa before it's too late to reach the Christmas Angel, and take part in the holiday event of the season - the Christmas Auction.
