A King's Ransom

n a primitive land where each city has its own god, in a time when wars are fought with swords, Captain Jamen rides home from the battlefield to a hostile welcome. He hangs on to life only by imposing on the king's beautiful attendant. Wounded and alone, he struggles to survive while pursued by vicious attackers and foreign rebel forces.
