The story takes the reader into the mind of a young girl who feels superior to her friends on the playground. She dislikes their differences and wishes they could all be more like her.

When a fairy appears, the little girl learns what it feels like to be in the shoes of the children she has been judging.

A Fairy Different Life has an anti-bullying message, but also spreads a message of diversity, in an entertaining way. The rhymes keep children interested from beginning to end.
