1972: I posti della ragione erano tutti occupati

I've collected in this book some of the more reasoned pieces written in twelve years of blogging (2003-2014). The contents do not seem to betray the passing of time. This isn't due as much to the intuition of the author, as to the predictability and persistence of the single system of values (single thought) and politically correct mentality that have invaded the West after September 11, 2001 (maybe even earlier), to become a constitutive element of its involution. On Islamic terrorism, American response, European decadence, the eternal return of ideology, liberal democracy vs. universal nihilism, the identity crisis of the West, the sleep of memory, the blunder of political correctness. Chronicle of a "short decade" observed on the wrong side. Or - more simply - there was once a blog.
