It shares the stories of individual participants, which include soldiers, civilians, and women. The study revisits the events of the war through the lens of everyday life, economic affairs, migration, invasion, military occupation, the role of civilian infrastructure, and the impact of the national question; and it undertakes a clinical analysis of various models of ground warfare.
