Lora Mersha-Moore is a bundle of nerves. Running the sci-fi club booth at the middle school festival should be easy, but today is the day she asks her best friend to the dance. With every step precisely planned, she still worries about everything that can go wrong. But there's one problem she never considered-ALIEN ABUDCTION.

Lora wakes up in a strange new world with clamshell men, talking clouds, and boys with fire coming out of their heads. Exploring alien planets was always Lora's dream, but her best friend is still missing. She arms herself with her deep knowledge of sci-fi stories to take on real aliens.
