Women's Participation in Paraguayan Higher Education

Gender equality and equitable access to higher education have gained relevance in recent years. Internationally and in Paraguay, women have demonstrated their capacity in various fields, contributing to social and economic progress. However, challenges such as the wage gap and lack of representation in leadership roles persist. This study aims to analyze the participation of women in the National University of Asuncion between 2013 and 2022, evaluating their evolution in enrollment and graduation in undergraduate and graduate programs.
