Women are a legacy of oppression

The issue of women and their rights will continue to be discussed because we realize that we need to reconsider social norms, the nature of the prevailing religious discourse about women, and its perceptions of their identity, function, and rights, and the reduction of their roles and confining them to their limited family role, the physical view of them, discrimination based on men's preference, and the denial of their entitlement to participation. Politics, leadership positions, and judicial positions, falling under the authority of utilitarian interpretation of texts, and the dominance of masculinity. In this book, we present the position of Arab culture on women, religious discourse, the state and its institutions, society's vision of her, her image in thought and literature, and in the media. Is woman a type and gender, or an entity, a vision, and an insight, an existential partner without whom life cannot exist?!.. Questions and visions that this book attempts to discuss.
