Wind turbine generator with vertical axis of rotation

This book presents the research and development of a complete vertical-axis wind turbine system. The climate in the selected region is analysed. Technological and operational issues are considered, and software for the automated control system of the wind turbine generator is developed. Necessary calculations for system design are made. The adaptive braking system of the wind turbine is designed. The schemes of the experimental installation are presented.
