Both the lack of female leadership in companies and the pressure from society to change that, as well as the transformation in the women's role in leadership raise essential questions about how women's leadership is perceived and how women lead in general. This paper is going to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of supporting women in leadership roles. For this, the topic will be discussed both from the viewpoint of society and the workplace. I will assess the potential economic or social benefits that can be expected if the suggested recommendations are implemented.
