Where's Daddy?

Saviy is a little girl who loves playing with her dolls, but she realizes that someone very important is missing one day. While there is a doll for her and her mom, her dad doesn't feature.

Puzzled, she asks her mom why her dad isn't around and she patiently explains that some dads can't be there all the time, for all sorts of different reasons.

Slowly Saviy begins to understand that even if her dad isn't around much her mom is always there for her. And even if she doesn't see him too often, she still loves him anyway, and he loves her just as much.

Where's Daddy? is a short story that will help young children to understand why a parent isn't present, whether it's a permanent thing or just for a few days or weeks. It is ideal for reinforcing the message that a father may not be around but that he loves his child just the same.
