What I Need You to Know

This book is a part of a young girl's journey while she and her family are homeless. it allows her to speak her thoughts and feelings safely, without criticism or judgment, from anyone. It allows her to keep the terrible secret that rules her life. Like many families, she has not always been homeless and she carries a hope that one day, not only will her live in a house again, but her Father will return and they can all be together as a family.

Unfortunately, in January 2024, according to the national Alliance to End Homelessness "259, 473 people in families were identified as homeless". There were 32,882 veterans who experienced homelessness in 2024. (VA Point in Time Count) There is work to be done to remedy the situation for all persons who are suffering in homelessness.
