What Did I Know, and When Did I know It?

When is happiness a destructive illusion? When is it wrong to attempt to homogenize and mollify a mind troubled by the things around: things that are real and disturbing. When do we step up and say it is time to stop medicating, redirecting, and distracting those who are troubled by what is all around them? To quote a review by JAMA of Seymour L.
