What Could I Be?

Off in the woods lived a small creature, with a spiky back, four little paws, a small round tail, a little black nose and two soft ears; and it did not know why or how it had gotten there. This is the story of a small curious creature that is determined to find out its identity, however it will have to go through a lot of trouble before he can finally realize what he really is.
