West to Sunland

A historical novel set in the aftermath of the American Civil War (War of Northern Aggression, as some call it). A young man leaves his detachment when he realizes the cause and the was has been lost. Looking for opportunity and a fresh start he commences his journey towards a new beginning on the open frontier among a civilization that had been commenced much earlier by the Spanish.
